An exercise circuit for young people suffering from obesity
In 2023, our support was directed towards an innovative project within the Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital: the creation of a fitness circuit adapted for overweight children and adolescents.
We were delighted to contribute to the realization of this Clinique Tremplin initiative, because it responded to a crucial need and was particularly close to our hearts. The inauguration of the circuit took place in the Spring of 2024.
A clinic specializing in the treatment of obesity in children and adolescents
The Tremplin Clinic, recognized for its expertise and dedication to families facing childhood obesity, designed this fitness circuit with the aim of providing a safe, motivating and inclusive environment for young people suffering from obesity. Their approach encompasses various aspects such as diet, physical activity, screen use, sleep, and many more.
Investing in the health and well-being of young people
For the Ronald-Denis Foundation, it was important to support the Clinique Tremplin initiative by offering them funding. Being aware of the unique challenges that overweight young people face, Clinique Tremplin aspires to improve their habits and lifestyles. This investment in the health and well-being of younger generations demonstrates the importance of prevention and education in the fight against obesity. May these facilities inspire and motivate children and adolescents to adopt active and balanced lifestyles, thus guiding them towards a healthier and more promising future.
