Men’s health at the heart of our actions
Age related health issues in men
Benign prostatic hyperplasia or the increase of the prostate size, testosterone deficiency or andropause in medical terms, erectile disorders including erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease: men’s health problems are numerous and sometimes underdiagnosed and undertreated in Quebec. The majority of these health problems begin at the age of 50. With this in mind, the Ronald-Denis Foundation is committed, as of 2024, to improve access to care for conditions that affect men’s health.
The Foundation strongly believes that access to surgical care within a reasonable timeline is a right.
Operating time to reduce waiting lists
We are dedicated to facilitating access to surgical care by raising funds to purchase operating time outside of hospitals to reduce waiting lists
Easier access to surgical care for men
Thanks to the donations received, we can finance the operations and care of many patients who would otherwise have to wait much longer for treatment.

The HoLEP procedure (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate), performed with MOSES 2.0 technology, demonstrates significant advancements in patient outcomes and procedural efficiency. This technology enables same-day discharge for over 90% of patients, thanks to faster enucleation and improved hemostasis, thereby reducing peri- and postoperative complications.
MOSES 2.0 technology also offers benefits for surgeons:
- Better visual clarity during the procedure, essential for precision;
- Improved control, simplifying the enucleation process;
- A shorter learning curve, making it more accessible compared to standard holmium technology.
This technology is available through our partner, the RocklandMD Surgery Center, and accessible to urologists in the greater metropolitan area.
These advancements make MOSES 2.0 an appealing choice for enhancing both patient recovery time and procedural safety.
