In 2024, the Foundation invested the sum of $35,025 to cover surgical expenses, thereby helping to provide care to patients in need while promoting improvements in their health and quality of life.

The Foundation also favorably approved several financial assistance requests to support individuals affected by obesity, providing essential support to improve their quality of life and access to care.

The Foundation made a second payment of $50,000 for the funding of the purchase of advanced technology for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, aiming to improve access to quality care for the patients affected.

Metabolic and bariatric hypo-absorptive surgeries with same-day discharge – 30-day results from a cohort at a high-volume center in Canada.

A donation of $15,000 was made to the organization 180 RASC, a non-profit organization that provides multi-professional care to young people suffering from obesity, to support their efforts to improve their health and well-being.

Since September 2024, a new nutritional and psychological support project was launched, with an initial investment of $1,921.75. This initiative aims to provide essential support to patients in their health journey by helping them adopt healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits.

An amount of $5,000 was given to the J. Sampalis Foundation to support cancer research, improve prognosis, provide patient support, and raise awareness on this essential cause.

At the Foundation Ronald Denis Gala in May 2024, this fundraising event raised a net amount of $234,580.65, a remarkable result to support the Foundation’s initiatives.
